The Celebration of Ryan's Life will take place Thursday April 8th at 2:00 pm MST at
Foster's Garden Chapel Funeral Home & Crematorium with a coffee reception to follow
Ryan has asked that everyone wear lots of color and if you are wearing black, that it be accompanied by color and a funky style. He was known for his pink converse in high school…so feel free to get them out if you have them!

Tasha and Talyn, your hearts are heavier then ever I can't even imagine, just remember that Ryan is at peace, no suffering anymore. Take each day one day at a time and hold eachother as you go. YOu will always have the wonderful memories of the times shared with Ryan, he will always be looking over the two of you now.

I'm so sorry you had to leave this world so soon. Your message has been received and I will benefit from it and do my best to pass it on. Thank you for your gift!
What a cruel and unfair world we live in sometimes. My condolences to you Tasha, Talyn and the rest of the family and I wish you all great strength as you find a way to move forward in such a difficult time. My heart aches for you.
Hi Tasha,
I have spent the day reading you and Ryans blogs after reading on face book that Ryan passed away. And I must say that I have spent the day crying reading about the incredible journey you have all been on. We meet Ryan 11 years ago while travelling around Greece, we have fond memories of tripping around a few of the beautiful Greek islands with him. They are some of our fondest memories of our overseas travel. We then went and stayed with him in Vancouver our last stop off on our way back home to New Zealand. I remember him meeting us off the plane with his open arms and great big smile!!!
We had a fantastic time with Ryan showing us around Vancouver and his hospitality was outstanding!! While we never got to return the hospitality to Ryan, if you ever want to come to New Zealand please look us up. It would be and honour to repay it to his family!
We send our love to you for the next few days, weeks, months and years.
Lots and lots of loveys to you, From Craig and Lisa Wadsworth, New Zealand

I am SO sad this morning. I haven't checked my blog (and subsequently Ryan's) since last week and this news is just so sad!
To Tasha - you don't know me, but I feel so close to you from so far away right now. I was just 27 when my husband drowned. Our baby boy was just 6 weeks old. While it was nearly 6 years ago now, I know only too well that it's a very hard road you have to walk. I know that there are no words to offer that will make you feel any better right now and I hope that the knowledge that Ryan is out of his pain is of comfort to you. Concentrate on your beautiful little boy, he will provide you with reason to smile, love and live. He is such a wonderful blessing.
I am thinking of you all the time and I am sending much love to you. The funeral today is going to be really tough, but the love of friends and family who care so much about you, Talyn and Ryan will carry you though. The day will come to an end.
I will have a quiet moment in honour of a wonderful, inspirational man later today (at the local time of the funeral).
With love,
Sue x
Sending you love and peace today and the weeks to come .
Caren just called to tell me the news. She has been following the blogs since we left Cancun.
We have excellent memories of the time we spent together there; great photos of all of us laughing and that is the way we will keep Ryan alive in our hearts.
Our deepest sympathy to you and Talyn.
Paul, Caren, Calum and Miles
I can't say anything that hasn't already been said about this sad event, but I want to tell you that, as my own condition deteriorates, I have made good use of your story whose moral was "You will be happy." It has helped others around me, so thank you for sharing it, and I wish you the best in trying to live it, eventually. You are a remarkable person.
