Ryan is at peace

Ryan's courageous battle with cancer ended today April 4th at 4:00 am. In his last day he was surrounded by his family and swarmed with love. His fight ended peacefully without pain. As you all know he was an amazing husband, father, son, brother, friend and most of all an amazing gift for all of us.

"When you are sorrowful, Look again in your heart And you shall see that, in truth, That for which you are weeping Has been your delight. " ---author unknown

We will post more details on arrangements for the celebration of his life as they become known. Please feel free to post your feelings and thoughts at this time.

There was a sense of urgency as I was finishing this song. Last night as the final mix was occurring, and it was time to name the track, then it came.

'Tears for Ryan'.

It was a privilege to know you Ryan.

You can shed tears that he is gone,
or you can smile because he has lived.
You can close your eyes and pray that he'll come back,
or you can open your eyes and see all he's left.
Your heart can be empty because you can't see him,
or you can be full of the love you shared.
You can turn your back on tomorrow and live yesterday,
or you can be happy for tomorrow because of yesterday.
You can remember him only that he is gone,
or you can cherish his memory and let it live on.
You can cry and close your mind,
be empty and turn your back.
Or you can do what he'd want:
smile, open your eyes, love and go on.”

Have a wonderful journey Ryan. May God bless and keep you.

I'm so, so sorry. My heart is with the three of you.

Though it's not much comfort at this time, I'm sure Elias will welcome Ryan with a big hug and smile, and I am also here for you, whenever you are ready, Tasha. Hugs and love to you and Talyn.

"God saw you getting tired
and a cure was not to be
so he put his arms around you
and whispered,
“Come to Me”

With tearful eyes we watched you
and saw you pass away
and although we love you dearly
we could not make you stay.

A Golden heart stopped beating
hard working hands at rest.
God broke our hearts to prove to us
he only takes the best."

Tasha, my thoughts are with you and Talyn. xoxo Nicki

Ryan will live on forever in your hearts as well as in those of us who never even met him but were so inspired by his courage and love for life. Ryan is with the angels now. My thoughts go out to you and the family right now. I met Ryan when he was my brother's roommate at flight school in Abbotsford. He introduced me to Starbucks coffee for the first time, driving us there in a very questionable VW bug. He was outgoing, and very likeable right away. I'm very sorry for your loss; Ryan was a tremendous person.

"Heartstrings...When those we love go away, they never really leave us; they are with us now, wherever we are. Those whom we have cherished, live on forever, for love wraps itself around the heart. Although it is difficult now, someday beyond our tears and all the world's wrongs;beyond the clouds and all that we can see and touch, we shall all understand."
Our thoughts and prayers are with you Tasha, Talyn and to all of Ryan's amazing family. Love to you all.

Dear Jo-Ann, Bryan, Sean, and Colin,

I am so sorry for your loss, but am glad that Ryan is now at peace, and that he was surronded by his loved ones at the time of his passing.

I saw a video of him on YouTube that was done by the Investors Group. It truly shows what a remarkable man he really was. To remain so upbeat and so positive, despite all the adversity he has faced, is truly inspirational. The video also shows what a remarkable person his wife Tasha is.

Even though I had not seen Ryan in many years, I have very fond memories of him. Memories that I will cherish, and which will live on in my heart.

We will all see him again soon.

All my love,

Glenn Veale
